Has your nail polish, base, or top coat gotten too thick?  Don't worry! You can bring it back to its original, or quite close to and manageable, viscosity.

Start by adding 2-3 drops of thinner into your nail polish, base, or top coat. Roll the bottle between your palms until the thinner is incorporated. If needed, add more thinner 1-2 drops at a time until the desired viscosity is acquired. If the contents are too thick, you may have to leave it overnight. You can use a toothpick or paperclip to mix the thinner and the polish and to make sure that the thinner makes it to the bottom of the bottle.

Keep in mind that some polishes, like those containing glitter, are usually thicker in purpose, to see the glitter suspended. Adding too much thinner to a glitter filled polish can disrupt the suspension quality and the glitter may sink.
